How to Say Hello in Javanese Indonesia – Definition – Examples

Indonesia is reach for its many kinds of cultures and languages from 34 provinces. One of the famous provinces in Indonesia with the biggest population is the Java Island. Java Island has 6 provinces.

If you decide to visit those Java provinces which speak Javanese language, you had better start to learn how to say hello in Javanese Indonesia because at least you can speak some of the simple greetings when you visit these provinces.

If you come to Java for the first time, the better thing to do when you speak Javanese Language is to speak the most formal language of Javanese called Kromo Inggil (Kromo Inggil). If you have stayed in Java provinces for such time, you may speak Ngoko (Nguoko).

There are some regions and levels of speaking in Java provinces. Some levels of speaking sometimes use for speaking but most spoken levels of Javanese language are Kromo Inggil Javanese Language and Ngoko Javanese Language.

Each provinces must have their own languages, however for Central Java, Special Region of Yogyakarta, and East Java provinces, the people speak the language called Javanese Language.
