- Yaitu (yae-itoo) = That is/ Namely/ i.e
- Yakin (yae-keen) = Sure/ Certain/ Of course/ Convinced/ Assured
- Yakni (Yuck-knee) (similar to “yaitu”) = Namely/ To be (Is/Am/Are)
- Yaman (Yea-muan) = Yemen
- Yang (young) = a particle word, like “which is” or “who are”
- Yatim (yea-team) = Fatherless
- Yatim piatu (Yea-team pee-ua-two) = Orphan
- Yayasan (yea-yea-sun) = Foundation/ Institution/ Establishment
- Yesus (Yae-soos) = Jesus
- Yudikatif (You-dee-kua-tif) = Judiciary
- Yugoslavia (You-glos-lavia) = Yogoslavia
- Yuk (yook) = To ask or persuade someone. Seem likely with “let’s”
- Yunani (You-nua-knee) = Greek/ Greece
- Yupiter (You-peter) = Jupiter (a name of planet)
- Yurisdiksi (You-risk-dik-see) = Jurisdiction
